Moral & Ethical Dilemmas — Monday, January 12 at 7:00 p.m.
Join us in St. Mary’s Chapel for a thoughtful evening led by Don Stevenson, philosophy and ethics adjunct professor at Hagerstown Community College. Cookies and coffee provided.

Youth Confirmation — Information Meeting Sunday, January 18
Following the 10:15 a.m. service in the youth classroom. Open to high school sophomores through college. Parents required for youth; food provided. Classes begin February 1.

Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service — Sunday, January 18
Create crafts and centerpieces for REACH Cold Weather Shelter guests and help prepare bagged meals for Walnut Tower residents. Activities take place from 2:00–4:00 p.m.

Annual Meeting — Sunday, January 25 at 12:00 noon (Trimble Hall)
Please plan to attend as we gather to reflect on the past year and look ahead together.

REACH Cold Weather Shelter — February 1–8
Volunteers are needed for two-hour shifts, meal donations, and supplies. Contact Missy McCray (717-420-7118) for details.

Celebration of the Holy Eucharist — Sunday, February 1 at 5:00 p.m.
In thanksgiving to God for The Reverend F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. on the 50th Anniversary of his Ordination to the Sacred Priesthood.

✠ St. John’s Friendly Barbecue Contest — Sunday, February 22

Join us right after the 10:15 a.m. service as Trimble Hall turns into BBQ Central for St. John’s Friendly Barbecue Contest. Bring your best backyard barbecue—chicken, ribs, brisket, or any regional style—and let the parish decide the winner. All entries should be prepared at home and brought ready to serve. There are no entry fees and no professional judges—just good food, great fellowship, and a People’s Choice vote. Come hungry, come happy, and come ready to cast your vote.
