All Saints’ Sunday

November 2, 2025

On All Saints’ we remember the great cloud of witnesses and hear Jesus bless the poor, the hungry, and the sorrowing (Luke 6:20–31). Sainthood isn’t perfection—it’s ordinary people made holy by grace, choosing mercy over vengeance and love over fear. As we “do to others as you would have them do to you,” may God make us a blessing in our own time.

Stewardship 2025: Testimonial

Shared during worship on October 26 by Carol Cox

In her heartfelt Stewardship reflection, Carol Cox shares how the St. John’s family surrounded her and her loved ones with love, care, and compassion — from the joy of her grandson’s baptism to the comfort and support they received during times of deep loss.

Her story is a moving reminder that every act of kindness — every prayer, every meal, every hug — feeds people both physically and spiritually.

“Every can of food you bring, every prayer you say, every hug you give — feeds people both physically and spiritually.”
